Double Soap Pump Oil Can Clear - Threshold™

A: any luck on finding a new pump? I came across the same issue with the pump.

A: The size that would match is 38/400 or for a gallon jug. The issue is that all of the offerings are plastic and don't match the nice aesthetic of the glass. I am having to recycle it and will not be buying another. Unfortunate. I will not be buying glass dispensers that are of this size going forward.

A: Has anyone found a replacement pump? I have bought several on Amazon, but they do not seem to fit. I have chatted with Target and asked in-store and they are aware of the defect, but can't/won't help.

A: I took a precision caliper to it. width is 33.89mm. so probably would need a "34/4xx" thread cap. I'm guessing 34/410 but that is a guess and i'm giving up on trying to find an alternative cap replacement. Looks like there is the same oil-can-style pump cap available on Amazon - ppl say it fits and they also say it doesn't. It's listed as 33mm (not 33.89mm, which is what is needed). I haven't purchased bc I find this oil-can-pump style to be defective.

A: Contrary to the above post, what you need is the pump size, the opening of the glass part is 1.25 inches or 31 mm. That is the width of the pump dispenser opening you need. I have searched for replacements for a long time without any luck. Good luck to you, I hope you find some replacements and can share with us who are still searching for those replacements.

A: Not a metal pump. Plastic with non-durable chrome-colored paint, like a model airplane or toy.

A: It's chrome plated plastic and does not hold up over time. Currently looking for a replacement pump because the chrome finish has worn off in places and looks awful.

A: Do the following: • Unscrew the top • Push down on the dispenser knob • With the knob down, put your finger on the end of the dispenser (where the liquid comes out). • Release the knob • Screw the top

A: Hey! I just bought these today and was having trouble getting my Palmolive dish soap to come out. It was making it up the tube, but not out of the top of the dispenser. I ended up submerging the opening at the top where the soap comes out into water and pushing the pump a bunch of times. After putting it back in the soap, it started to dispense!

Please be sure that the tube that submerges into the product is connected to the screw top. Once you have tightened the top onto the bottle, push down on the stem to dispense your product. A: I tried putting lotion inside and it worked great until I got towards the end of the bottle. It was hard to get the lotion out at the very end, so I took off the cap and poured it in my hand. It works better with soap. You can get pretty much all of the soap out.

A: I've used lotion for years. Simply always keep the bottle more than 1/3 full and you'll never have issues with a void occuring where the straw sucks up lotion (as it isn't as 'watery' as soap).

A: While it doesn't get every-last-drop, the straw gets most of the soap before it doesn't reach what's left.

A: I think lotion would be too thick and would clog up the pumping mechanism.

A: Yes, it dispenses lotion just fine. Been using these for soap and lotion for 20+ years (Have to replace 'em every 5-7 years). Keep it more than 1/3 full, otherwise a void will form near the straw).

A: yes but just make sure sure hold the cup close to the dispenser. Velocity depends on how hard you push the pump.
